Over the years I have juiced for many reasons, usually it is for weight loss / management. As I’ve mentioned many times, weight is a constant struggle for me, mostly because I like to eat and drink and I have a busy, fun, social life that includes a lot of both!
I just started back to Keto dieting after a crazy summer full of trips, backyard parties, family functions, all filled with lots of yummy food that has left me less than happy with the state of my body and the lack of clothing in my closet that actually fits me right now…
This being said, I am going to share with you my favorite juice recipe, even though I will not be using it for a bit. This juice tastes amazing and has helped me when my energy is low or I am feeling out of sorts with my digestion and other heath issues.
1 Orange
1 Carrot
1 Inch Ginger
1 Large Kale Leaf
Handful of Spinach
1 Small Cucumber
3-4 Strawberries
1 Small Green Apple
I won’t be juicing with fruit for a bit but I still use my juicer all the time when doing Keto. I love to juice tomatoes and peppers for use in my instant pot with a roast or chicken breasts to shred. I also like to add celery to the tomato and pepper juice to make a yummy broth for a Keto veggie soup. Stay tuned for Keto and Low Carb recipes!
