My Lips Taste Like Sangria…
Red Wine Sangria
1 Bottle Red Wine of your choice – Choose your wine based on desired sweetness. I love to use a Grenache with a bit of a spicy flavor profile but a sweet red will give you a more mellow flavor.
1 Can of Frozen Fruit Juice Concentrate
Brandy
2 Oranges
Frozen Fruit – You can cut up your own or buy frozen, I like pineapple, strawberries, and whatever else sounds good that day!
At least one hour before serving –
In large pitcher or bowl add wine and thawed fruit juice concentrate. Add one can of water and one can of brandy (less if you don’t want it as strong). Slice oranges and use as garnishes, put the remaining slices in a plastic bag and place in freezer. When you are ready to serve add frozen fruit and oranges to keep sangria cold and not watered down!
This recipe will make 2 regular sized pitchers.
