8 Reasons

National Mojito Day!

With that said, here are 8 reasons why you should start blogging on your website today! 👊

Mojitos According to Heidi –

Classic Flavor –

3-6 Mint Leaves depending how much of the mint flavor you prefer. I only use a few for mine, but my husband likes more of the minty flavor so I suggest starting with 3 and then adding more if desired

3/4 Oz Simple Syrup

3/4 Oz Fresh Lime Juice

1 1/2 Oz White Rum*

1 1/2 Oz Club Soda

In a cocktail shaker, lightly muddle the mint and then add the simple syrup, lime juice and rum, fill the rest with ice.

Shake well and pour (unstrained) into a highball glass and top with the club soda and garnish with a lime wedge and asprig of mint.

Berry Mojito (My favorite!)

3 -6 Mint Leaves

5 – 10 Raspberries, Strawberries, Blueberries, or whatever berries you love! Here again I would start with a few and add more to get your desired flavor.

3/4 Oz Raspberry Lemonade

1 1/2 Oz White Rum*

1 1/2 Oz Club Soda

In a cocktail shaker, lightly muddle the mint and berries. Add the simple syrup, lime juice and rum, fill the rest with ice.

Shake well and pour (unstrained) into a highball glass and top with the club soda and garnish with a sprig of mint and berries.

Pineapple Mojito

3 – 6 Mint Leaves

1/2 Oz Pineapple Juice

1/4 Oz Fresh Lime Juice

3/4 Oz Simple Syrup

1 1/2 Oz White Rum*

3/4 Oz Club Soda

In a cocktail shaker, lightly muddle the mint and then add the simple syrup, lime juice and rum. Fill shaker with ice.

Shake well and pour (unstrained) into a highball glass and top with the club soda and garnish with a sprig of mint and pineapple wedge.

Guava Mojito

3 – 6 Mint Leaves

3/4 Oz Simple Syrup

1/2 Oz Guava Juice

1/4 Oz Fresh Lime Juice

1 1/2 Oz White Rum*

In a cocktail shaker, lightly muddle the mint and then add the simple syrup, lime juice and rum. Fill shaker with ice.

Shake well and pour (unstrained) into a highball glass and top with the club soda and garnish with a sprig of mint.

*Use 3 oz of Club Soda for a virgin mojito
